ShuftiPro โ€” Designing Enterprise Identity Verification at Global Scale

Designing enterprise onboarding, acquisition funnels, and scalable UX systems for a global KYC/AML platform

ShuftiPro is a global KYC/AML identity verification platform helping businesses onboard and verify users across 200+ countries through automated compliance workflows. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, I worked across both product and marketing systems, designing enterprise onboarding experiences, conversion funnels, and scalable localization frameworks โ€” with a strong focus on maintaining clarity, trust, and UX consistency across rapidly growing global touchpoints.

My Role & Contributions

  • SSP onboarding & pricing UX

  • PPC and campaign landing pages

  • 200+ localized country pages

  • Design system refinement

  • Brand evolution and visual direction

  • Webinar/event experiences

  • Partner ecosystem interfaces

  • Conversion-focused UX optimization

This role required balancing product UX, growth design, and enterprise system thinking across multiple teams and surfaces.

Key Challenges

  • Reducing friction in multi-step onboarding and verification flows through clearer decision hierarchy and step-based flow design

  • Standardizing modular layout structure across 200+ localized landing pages while maintaining visual and UX consistency

  • Balancing enterprise-level trust with usability by structuring information density around user decision points

  • Supporting localization at scale without breaking design coherence across regions and industries

  • Aligning product UX and marketing experiences into a unified conversion ecosystem

Problem Framing & Insight

At the start of the project, the assumption was that enterprise users were struggling with complexity.

However, deeper analysis revealed a more accurate insight:

Enterprise users were not struggling with system complexity โ€” they were struggling with decision confidence while moving through high-stakes steps like onboarding, pricing selection, and compliance verification.

This shifted the design direction from simplifying interfaces to reducing uncertainty at decision points inside complex flows.

Designing for clarity alone was not enough โ€” the focus needed to be on designing for confidence in progression.

Design Strategy & Thinking

The strategy focused on reducing uncertainty at key decision points inside complex enterprise flows.

Instead of compressing onboarding into fewer steps, we prioritized clarity over speed by introducing progressive disclosure. This ensured users always understood what they were committing to before moving forward, even if it meant slightly longer interaction flows.

This reframing shaped how every UX decision was approached across onboarding, pricing, and acquisition funnels.

SSP Flow โ€” Core Product Impact

The SSP (Self-Service Platform) flow was one of the most critical systems in the product.

It included onboarding forms, pricing selection, and verification pathways designed for enterprise clients.

We restructured the onboarding experience into progressive stages, ensuring users were not overwhelmed with all decisions at once.

Instead of compressing onboarding into fewer steps, we prioritized clarity over speed by introducing progressive disclosure. This ensured users always understood what they were committing to before moving forward.

This tradeoff โ€” slightly longer flows in exchange for higher decision confidence โ€” significantly improved usability in high-complexity enterprise contexts.

Global Growth & Localization System

ShuftiPro operates across 200+ countries, requiring a highly scalable localization system.

Instead of treating localization as replication, the system was designed using a modular layout architecture that preserved hierarchy while enabling regional content variation without breaking consistency.

This allowed marketing and product teams to rapidly deploy localized landing pages while maintaining a unified UX structure across all markets.

Campaign & Acquisition Experience

To support global lead generation efforts, I designed conversion-focused campaign landing pages tailored for enterprise acquisition journeys, webinar promotions, and regional marketing initiatives.

The goal was balancing strong conversion behavior with enterprise trust, ensuring each experience remained visually aligned with the broader ShuftiPro ecosystem.

PPC landing pages were optimized around clarity, hierarchy, and high-intent conversion behavior. Particular attention was given to messaging structure, CTA visibility, and reducing friction during enterprise lead capture flows.

Design System & Brand Evolution

A key part of the project involved strengthening the ShuftiPro design system to unify product and marketing experiences.

The goal was to evolve ShuftiPro into a unified enterprise design system where product and marketing experiences shared consistent UI patterns, hierarchy rules, and visual behavior.

This helped eliminate fragmentation between campaign pages, product interfaces, and acquisition funnels, ensuring a more cohesive enterprise identity.

Business Impact

  • Reduced onboarding drop-off risk by introducing structured decision flows that improved clarity at each step

  • Enabled scalable deployment of 200+ localized pages through reusable modular layout systems

  • Improved consistency across acquisition funnels by standardizing UX patterns across product and marketing surfaces

  • Unified product and marketing UX behavior under a shared system architecture to eliminate fragmentation across touchpoints

  • Contributed to SSP onboarding and pricing experience supporting a $10M+ enterprise client acquisition

Key Takeaway

In enterprise systems, complexity is not the core problem โ€” uncertainty at decision points is what drives drop-offs. Designing for confidence, not simplicity, became the guiding principle of this project.

This project strengthened my ability to design across product, growth, and brand layers while maintaining clarity, decision confidence, and operational scalability within large enterprise systems.

It reinforced that effective enterprise UX is not about simplifying systems โ€” it is about designing predictable, confident user decisions within complex environments.
